  1. This package contains the SuperInstall(tm) Software Installation Program
  2. Version 1.0 by Logistral, Inc.  This document contains only a brief
  3. description of the package and its features, along with instructions for
  4. its installation.  Quite detailed documentation is included in the
  5. package, but it is in archived form, and is more easily read after
  6. installation.

  8. While most installers force you to write complex scripts for even the
  9. most basic installations, SuperInstall uses a menu driven approach.  The
  10. program's user interface conforms to industry standards.  It is
  11. intuitive and easy to use.  You answer a few basic questions about your
  12. program and SuperInstall does the rest.  You can check if the user's
  13. system meets your program's requirements.  You can modify CONFIG.SYS and
  14. AUTOEXEC.BAT files.  You can create subdirectories.  You can show README
  15. files.  Your files can be compressed, to reduce the number of disks
  16. required for distribution.  No external file compression software is
  17. required, SuperInstall features ZIP 2.0 support internally. SuperInstall
  18. is a flexible tool, powerful enough to handle most software installation
  19. tasks. And no royalties are required.

  21. SuperInstall is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes
  22. all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may
  23. use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see VENDINFO.DIZ for more
  24. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  25. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  26. REGISTER.TXT or VENDINFO.DIZ for more details).  Any fee you may have 
  27. paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation 
  28. version was a fee for their copying and distribution services, rather 
  29. than a payment for continued use of the program.
